My NLTSGO 2011 Experience, Day 2
Waking up, I asked, "How many more days?" And including this one, since the day has just started, the answer is FOUR. Four!!! I was already tired then, and we still four more days to go like these?? Coming home late at night, getting about four or five hours of sleep, lining up and waiting for like thirty minutes to one hour for the meals, bumping into every person close to you because of the small space . . . I honestly just wanted to go home at that time. I couldn't remember if we ate breakfast at McDo or at Teachers' Camp (because we didn't have enough money anymore) although I think today we ate at Teachers' Camp. Haha.
We went to the Benitez Hall, but as always, the first floor was already full, so we went upstairs. We went to the right wing and looked for seats, but all the chairs were occupied, so we looked for vacant spaces. Luckily there were still spaces . . . Meg and Emi started falling asleep, but I couldn't, wanna know why? Because of the smelly feet - again. By now you know how much I hate anything that smells. I'm sorry, but my belief is that when I smell something strong (whether good or bad) that odor stays with me for a really long time. And who would want a bad smell stuck in her nose for like an hour or so? -_- (That's one of the reasons I'm attracted to guys who smell nice. Hihi!) So, yeah, I couldn't sleep because of that, and because I couldn't find a proper position to sleep sitting down. Haha!
But I fell asleep, eventually. Hahaha! :p And then they woke me up 'cause we were transferring to the wall so we could sleep more properly . . . But we couldn't anymore. Hahahahaha! We started listening to the plenary session. This time the speaker was Fr. Jboy Gonzales, and he was bringing up some really important issues. Meg looked for her umbrella which she placed beside her bag on our first spot when we came in, but forgot to bring with her when we went to the wall. Oh no! We tried searching and searching for it . . . But we couldn't find it :( And then, Fr. Jboy started talking about cheating and asked some students whether it's good or bad . . . And believe it or not, some took the stand that cheating is good and proudly announced that they do it in their school! They said, you couldn't survive high school without cheating at least once! And that, if you have a friend whom you caught cheating, just let it be because it's the right thing to do! Like what the heck?! We left the hall to line up for lunch, and I was honestly disgusted by their answers. Cheating, good? Gad, and I thought they were student leaders.
It'd been raining since we arrived on Friday (but they were just droplets then, this time the rain was really intense), and with the loss of Meg's umbrella, only Danielle, Joanna and I had umbrellas and shared them with the five who had none, all while waiting in line. And the line was really really long, but we knew a shortcut. :> We looked for the 'second line' again. And luckily enough, there was one, much much shorter than the other one. Mwahahaha! =)) So yeah, we waited in the rain, and we ate when we finally got in. Weeeee!
After eating lunch we looked for Quirino Hall, because that day would be the start of our break-out sessions with the Ateneo CODE. An old man told us to ride the jeep to take us there. We thanked him and looked for a jeep with the sign board 'Quirino Hall.' Unfortunately there were none, but there was one that said 'Albert Hall,' and the driver kindly agreed to take us to our destination. Emi left us because he's assigned to Romulo Hall, that one's for the presidents. Haha. We were dropped off, the fare was free yey! :p There was a huge hall, but you had to climb what looked like 100 steps to get there. Wew O_O We were about to go up there when Paige stopped us because it might not be Quirino Hall. Thankfully there was a sign that said it was Albert Hall. Phew!
A few fails when we were dropped off: the others who were dropped off with us left, so we were kinda sorta alone in that spot. And then Paige was like, "Oh my God we're lost!" and it echoed all around us. Haha! Embarrassing. :)) And then, it was raining diba, and Meg and I were sharing my umbrella, and my umbrella closes itself automatically when you push the button, and she accidentally pushes it! :)) And it was raining :))))) Wahaha! We started walking towards what we hoped was Quirino Hall, then some went to the CR first. Haha. A girl approached us and told us that she could get us front seats if we wanted. She's so nice. :) That girl was Ate PJ. :)
Emi came to us and told us that he's gonna join us instead of the Romulo Hall peeps because he asked the facis where Romulo Hall was and he could join us, Quirino Hall. Haha! So, yeah. When we got inside, we saw that the place was already packed! The students were divided into two, separated in the middle, where there were three facis talking to the ones nearer to the back. We were included there. The guy seemed really nice and friendly (and cute) and one of the girls seemed really crazy! Hahaha! Kebs? Jebs? :)) Later we learned that the guy was Kuya Nico and the girl was Ate Jaz. :D
They presented a dance to us, the dance that they also performed the day before, when Mr. Abendan introduced the facis for the different halls. There was a sort of hot guy, and his name was Kuya Dash. Haha! The girls were screaming for him, but they screamed even harder for Kuya Nico! Waaaaaah! :""""> He was really cute! :"> I hoped to be in his group . . . but unfortunately we weren't. :'( Oh well. Haha! So, yeah, we had a different faci, and she's Ate Jonah! :D She's such a cutie! :))) She's super nice! Haha! And she really explains to us the evaluation of the games we play. :)
Yeah, we played different games, but I won't tell you because some of them will be part of our re-echo of the whole thing. :) Hehe. Yup. At the end of the break-out session we took pictures with our faci, Ate Jonah. :D The other girls took pictures with Kuya Dash, and Emi took a picture with Ate Jaz. Wahahahaha! :)) After that we went near Albert Hall to wait for a jeep to come. It was already like, like past 6 already. When we got to the Parking Lot Tent we ate dinner at Abada Hall first, then called Sir Chris and Tr. Tina to go home. Yes! We were ditching the guest celebrities for the night. 2 hours din yun of waiting for them and we might not even get to see them (like Enrique Gil, huhu) when we could have bonded in our ESC home. Haha! So that's what we did. :D
It was a Sunday, and we were lucky enough to watch
Gandang Gabi Vice. Hahaha! Good vibes ;) Then Emi fell asleep watching :)))) Haha! And then Meg and I were the only ones awake, and we watched a few shows, then we turned the TV off and talked about stuff. Then we heard an orchestra =))))) Inside joke. Wahaha! Meg fell asleep first, then me. Haha. Wew!
