That's the way we spell SUCCESS :)
Define wasted. I woke up at around quarter to 4 in the morning for the EnviRUNment. It was raining, and I wondered if the whole Community Day will still be pushed through. The service came a little late, but we arrived at school at around 15 minutes after five. It was still dark. Jamsy was there, and she said that the volunteers for the midway point were already there at the, well, midpoint. She called Chai and Mr. Ignacio offered us the ride. When we got there we started setting up the cups and got ready for the runners. Shinji, Tyrone and one other guy were there in just a few minutes after the fun run started. Cool much O_O Haha. We were there for about an hour or so, and then finally there were no more runners approaching.
We all agreed to walk back to school. Oh yeah! Then it started raining, not as hard first, but we needed the umbrellas. And then a shuttle came and all of us went inside and rode back to school. Hahaha! We were dropped off near the entrance to make it look like we walked all the way haha. Regina and I proceeded to Sir Chris and he told us to put the fun games materials in the gym, because it was still raining and we couldn't do them in the field. We looked for our stuff that we put in Mr. Ignacio's pick-up, then Sir Chris told us that the fun games are cancelled. O_____________O I felt sorry for Eminence, Meg, Regina, Chai, Valerie, Steph and the others who worked extra hard for this activity to prepare the materials, just for the fun games. Only to find out that the rain cancelled them? It sucks. . . .
And then I haven't eaten my breakfast yet. I went to that place for the community breakfast with dad. It was friggin' packed. I only ate one piece of pan de sal. Then dad left and I went back to the classroom. Hanna and Michie were drained; Jonina, Vielka, and Christine went to the community breakfast. I took a nap for some time then heard Tr. Jho's voice. We were going to practice. We practiced our cheer two times in the corridor, and we were LOUD. Then the balloons were distributed, and some of them started popping minutes later. Haha. We went back to our classroom, not really doing much. I slept again. Then I think Christine was the one who woke me up. We were almost about to present.
My head was hurting O_O Wew. Haha. My body was weak . . . But we walked to the gym with our balloons. We were so ecstatic! We were the last batch to present, of course, 'cause we're seniors. After the juniors, we were next. We were waving our balloons with pride, and started singing and cheering . . . After that we stayed in the gym and waited for the announcements. Okay, I won't prolong your wait anymore. The juniors won. We lost. That pretty much ruined my day.
I mean I was already not in a good mood since morning, and to hear the announcement that we seniors didn't win? I'm not sad that it was the juniors who won. I'm sad because WE lost. Like we didn't do enough. What went wrong? I thought for sure during our early practice that we had 99% of it in the bag. But even before the announcement of winners, I had the sinking feeling that we're going to be disappointed. And true enough, we were. It really sucks.
I'm still proud of the seniors, though. It's moments like these that I'm glad to be from this batch. Congrats, juniors. You deserve it . . . :) Seniors, bawi nalang tayo sa intrams. We can do this, right? ONE BIG FIGHT!
