Thank You talaga.
And everything started falling down.
First week started a bit . . . Er-ish, because of the Echoes vid thing, but all that's over now. Let go of the past. And that's exactly what we did because we were still preparing for Sr. Teresa's birthday tomorrow. Each of us has his or her own tasks, but Paige is kind of the "debut manager" for this event. The rest, like the invitations, sash, candles and all the other stuff are our jobs to do. And then the level officers are tasked to prepare a presentation from their batch.
Pambid and I were assigned to do the "physical" blah blahs, including the sash. Sir Chris said that we'll be doing it on Tuesday but we weren't called. Yesterday he was absent, so Paige and Joanna decided to allocate the remaining budget for the sash, invitations, and candles. Pambid and I together with Danielle, Valerie and Meg headed to National Book Store right away to buy the materials needed. Pambid and I split up the materials, and we each did our own last night. Well, me, right after I arrived home, I decided to catch up on some Zzzz's because that's what I've been missing since the first day of school. I woke up, ate dinner, and started working on the sashes. Oh but guess what. Fever attacked me right then and there. And I was like seriously? You see, I'd been feeling sick since Tuesday night, and I guess it aggravated as the days went by. So there.
My mom and dad offered to help me; I wrote the letters and they cut them. Soon I was in our parents' room, on their bed and with a blanket on top of me, my mom hurrying to get me some medicine. I drank Biogesic and the one for colds. Gah. Medicine. But after that, I felt better! Well that was until my nose got drained with all the UHOG. Sigh. So my mom rubbed some Vicks on my nose and I was breathing normally again. I woke up earlier feeling better than I had yesterday.
And then it got bad again. We stayed in school today until about half past 5. Chelsea, my sister and I did the sash and thankfully, the letters were finished. Unfortunately though, the pink lace can't be glued nor stapled to the sash. So we decided to use mighty bond instead. My sister and I along with Hanna (thanks, Hanna!!) went to National in Paseo to look for that, and for pins. But to our luck, they don't sell safety pins there!! And my sister couldn't find a mighty bond. And then there was this one woman, I think she's the owner of the store, and she talked to us. She helped us! She gave us two pins that she looked for in her bag, and told us where we could find more of those safety pins. Gah, she was really nice!! :) I'm thankful that there are still those kind of people out there . . . Like a modern good Samaritan :)
Well we went to Mercury Drug and the safety pins there were for BABIES. How in the world do you expect us to use that? Man, there were still no safety pins available for us to use. Panic rushed over me . . . And then Hanna saw Emi and we told him what happened. Then we decided to go to the wet market at Paseo to look for the safety pins there . . . but OOPS. Lucky me. Cough, cold, and my body started to feel hot. Wow. Hanna, Danielle and I went to Jollibee to eat snacks there and wait for dad while he looks for the safety pins. And thankfully, he came back with the complete set! Hanna remained at Jollibee because her dad was going to pick her up there.
Going home. Man it was traffic. And I couldn't breathe anymore. I didn't have any towel or hanky with me, nor did I bring a jacket. -.- My nose started to get more and more clogged so I breathed through my mouth. And my throat hurts. Waaaah. I'm not complaining or whatever. Just ranting. Because in our first selection in English it says that a good treatment for psychological fatigue is NOT sleep but venting your feelings to a trustworthy person. And since I have no one to talk to . . . this blog is my escape.
Lolz. That was overdramatic. But yeah . . . Now I've let the working part of myself rant that out . . . Bukas nalang yung iba. I have loads of stories to tell.
