The Perks of Being a Legal Adult
Legal adult a.k.a. not anymore a minor
While waiting for dad to close up the house my mom let me sort of drive again. Woopee! I did some reversing this time, too. Hindi nalang inches yun! :)) Plus I was less tense this time. "Okay, relax," as said by the great Hermione Granger :))
We went to Asian Hospital first. It's funny that that's its name I mean, aren't all hospitals/medical centers in Asia, Asian? xP Anyway, we went there to see the opthalmologist (I dunno if my term's correct) to check up on my eyes. And man was I 6 months late :)) And his name is Elmer Tan and I remembered Sir Rufo and damn did I miss him. Okay, so seeing that Dr. Tan wasn't there, we went to Festival instead to have my check-up. I chose maroon-coated glasses in honor of UP. Joke!! Nagbabakasakali lang na mapansin ng proctor pag nag-test na at maka-good shot pa. JOKE ULET!!
We went to Sbarro to eat lunch. That was my second time to eat there. I ordered a baked ziti with the alfredo sauce. Damnnn, that was heavenly. The sauce made me crave for Mmmm. It's not something I would want to eat on a daily basis, though. Hehe. Baka maumay ako.
We went back to the optical center to get my new glasses. The doctor told me that I have ASTIGmatism, but of course I already knew that. XD No, but seriously, Dr. Tan told me that already. :D And the grade in my eyes got higher. Sigh.
And then mom and dad left us. They gave us money to watch movies. When we got there, the unthinkable just happened. The Hangover 2 is an R-18 movie! Ugh, damn. So we decided to watch another movie instead. We chose Insidious, a horror movie. "It's not the house that's haunted, it's their son." But we had about an hour left before the next showing, so we went to X-Site while waiting. We played the guitar thing. Haha! And the driving. Hahaha!! And then we went to a karaoke room. Wooohu! Until about half past 3, then we went back to the cinema.
Guess who I saw? Ana! You know, from Brain Train? Hehehe you might remember her more as Reinier's best friend. HAHA!! It's awesome that she remembered me. Weeeeeeeeeee! Hahaha. We bought mini donuts first before going inside the movie house. We got in just in time for the opening credits. The picture quality was dark, I didn't know if it was really meant to be like that to increase the horror feel. The idea was not usual, but the next scenes were pretty predictable, even the ending. It's alright :) But before anybody goes watching this after reading everything I said, let it be known that I closed my eyes during the scary parts so I wouldn't be scared :))))
After the movie we headed back to X-Site and into the karaoke room :D Woohu! We just sang there until about 8:30 in the evening. Hahaha! When we ran out of tokens we bought some more, but we played the driving arcades na :)) And then mom and dad picked us up again and we ate at McDo in Petron. The waitress was new and I kind of pitied her because she was still a bit confused with the process. Awwww. And then mom and dad told us that there was no electricity back at home because one of the posts in 1A got damaged! :O Thankfully when we got home it was back :D Why? I was scared. Insidious hangover O_O Thankfully watching Avatar made me forget about the whole thing. And it became clearer now! :D And damn their bodies. Why do they gotta be so strong?
