Great things come in small packages :)
Fact of the Day: Babies always have blue eyes when they are born: Melanin and exposure to UV light are needed to bring out the true color of babies' eyes.

It wasn't as bad as I expected. I thought Tr. Jho was kind of a tyrannical adviser, because that's what I remembered her to be when we were still in first year. But she wasn't as scary as some other teachers I could point out . . . Hahaha! Seeing my friends were, eh. JUST KIDDING!! x] Of course I was happy to see them. It's weird that we usually talked about UPCAT and the requirements and those college entrance test-related stuff. Damn . . . Oh, and then Tr. Jho came and we lined up and went to the gym for the assembly.
Guess what? We're placed at the back again. Dang it!! I thought you know, since they already robbed us of our superiority by placing us on the 1st floor, they'd at least give us the front position at the gym. But nooooooo!! Sigh . . . But my grieving didn't last long due to Tr. Ann's calling the ESC officers at the stage. We waited for the Lupang Hinirang to be played. It was a long 5-minute wait, mostly because the students were quiet. O____O It was weird. It felt like no one was there :))
After the whole routine and Emi's short speech/remarks, we went back to our sections. I sat at the back of the line; Coritha, Micah and Regina were there. Earlier Pambid told us that their co-adviser is . . . Drum roll please! :)) SIR TOBY!! Wew!!!! Hey, at least he's just a co-adviser this time, eh? :D Hahaha. When I got back to Chofu I saw Tr. Jean behind us. And, well, I jumped to conclusions right then. "Is this true?! Tr. Jean will be our co-adviser?!?!" And Regina confirmed it. YESSS!!!! Calculus adviser and Physics co-adviser?! I already felt the academic vibe coming. :)))) T'was good! :D:D:D I'd been really fascinated by Tr. Jean since the YES Camp and I'm really excited to be her student. Ahaha!
And then Tr. Ann called the teachers by department. When it was time for the science department, Regina told me that Tr. Tina's the new head of science. Nice!! But I heard Tr. Ann say a different name: Tina Briones. And I was like, Who the heck is this woman? Did Tr. Ann get the surname wrong? Not once did it occur to me that Tr. Tina - OUR Tr. Tina - would ever be married. Without announcing it, anyway. Gad and she did!! She wasn't there, though. But still!! What the heck, Tr. Tina?! O_____O But hey, at least we were the last batch she taught, and I'm glad we got that privilege. ;) I may not have learned that much in the end and forgot more than half of what she taught us, but those laugh out loud moments she and our section are priceless. Congrats to you and your husband, Tr. Tina. x]
Oh and guess what? Tr. Perry's the new assistant principal of the elementary department. Hahahahaha!! Tr. Ann's the new assistant principal for high school pala. :D Niiiice. Ahaha. And then before leaving the gym my sister a.k.a. Committee Head on Publicity (Woohu!) called the facilitators for the acquaintance party on Friday. We stayed at the gym lobby for a while. Sir Chris/Sir Tope oriented us regarding the shirt we're going to wear on Friday. He was supposed to orient us about the planned games already, but he doesn't have the list yet. So we're going to be excused again tomorrow morning! Hahahahaha =)) It's better than listening to the same rules in the SDG again. It's not like I violate them. XDXD Lolz.
We got back to our respective classrooms. Blanky was saying something about himself. :)) Turns out we were having an activity where we say something new about ourselves and where we live so people can stalk us. And then we asked some questions to Tr. Jho. I think it was Daniel, he asked why we're still in the same old building and not in the Cimatti Dome. Tr. Jho said that the classrooms over there are "not made for big boys and girls like us." Yep. Exact words. Ahahaha. And she said that even if we really wanted to experience being there, it's better that we weren't because it was really hot in there. I remember when we were doing the amendments, there were a hell lotta electric fans. Meg and I would always get our own >:)))) Haha! Anyway, I also asked Tr. Jho why we weren't in the 2nd floor. Pam already told us, but Tr. Jho explained that it's for them to monitor us. Uggghhh. Yeah . . . So that's why . . . Tssss. But it's kinda cool in Chofu a.k.a. Becchi classroom. So I guess I'm starting to accept it. There's nothing I can do about it naman na eh :))
And then we played a game :)) Called 7-Up. :> Ahaha. Wew! You really need to be alert in that game :)) But the game was cut when we were only 8 left (me included! Woopee!). We had recess first. And then we had bonding in the Miyazaki corridor :))))) Lolz. When our advisers came, we went back to the classroom. We had the cleaner assignments. But here's the fun part: You get to choose which day you want to be a cleaner and what job you want to do. For me, I chose to be the board member for Monday, along with Christine and Vielka. :D I think hassle na kasi yung ibang days, you know? Haha!! Then after that, Tr. Jho put up another cartolina. It's for the bulletin board. Again you can only put your names if you want to. At first Vielka, Christine, Regina, Micah and I wanted to design the bulletin board for December but someone got ahead in writing ahead of us. Awwww. So we wrote our names for September, Science Month, instead. We were already, like, flowing with ideas and stuff :))
And for the last cartolina, there were other extra assignments, like absentee list, line leader, SDG and another one that I forgot :)) I wrote my name on the absentee list for the 1st quarter, so that means I'm not going to be a cleaner for the 1st quarter! :D Yehey!! :))))) But more importantly, that means I'm going to be noticed by the teachers on the 1st quarter! =)))) Vielka's the line leader of the girls . . . for the whole school year. Nice one, Vielks! :)) So she isn't going to be the cleaner for the whole school year lolz :)) Christine was supposed to sign up too, as an absentee list monitor for the 4th quarter, but she was out-written by Dada who wrote Pam's name. Sayang.
After that we continued the 7-Up game :)) Dammit! I was the last person to commit an error. I think Nicole, Alyssa and Ruth won. Go girl power!! :)))) I think they'll have plus points in Calculus . . . DANG!!! Wahahaha. And then Joseph led our prayer and Tr. Jho dismissed us :D I'm really starting to like her, with her organized assignments and stuff. \m/ I could definitely tell that she's gonna help us in competitions and stuff related to that. Yezzz! :))
After dismissal Michelle and I went inside the Nakatsu/Chieri classroom. :)) Tr. Ching was still there, decorating their bulletin board. And I saw the expression "paint the town red" there, and it made me remember what Miss Val said during one of our language proficiency classes about that idiomatic expressions. :D Tr. Ching's expression was kind of funny :)) She said, "Ang morbid naman ng meaning ng expression na yan." Ahaha! Well Tr. Ching, that's just one of the things you learn when you've got the Brain Train advantage! XDXD
Hahaha. Missing Mira, missing my Brain Train peeps. But this day marks new beginnings, and as Eminence had said, change and improvements. It's our last shotS, Raya pointed out. So let's make it count. I know I will. x]
