July 15, 2010: After the storm

I slept at around 12:30AM, then woke at 5. Seeing that it was still kinda early, I went back to take a quick nap. But it wasn't quick anymore, because I saw that I had been "napping" for about 20 minutes! Whoa!! So of course I was rushing. The service came. My sister and I went on it, and started to fetch our other servicemates (We're the first ones to be fetched). They were slow and I got mad at them, but really I was mad at myself because I was the main reason we were going to be late. So I just took a nap to shake my anger off.

When I woke up, we were already passing through Panasonic. I looked at the time, fearing that we were already late, but I saw that it was just 6:29AM. Wow! That was cool. :D XD

Then we arrived at school much, much earlier than I expected. I entered our classroom but then my classmates warned that the center part of our floor was wet. And a lot was near my place, so I just decided to put my bag outside first. Then I got my stuff in my locker. Then I went to Turin to look at Meg's diagram for the Chem project. And then we all assembled for the flag ceremony.

After that was the morning exercise. It was just the same steps. Man, I really wanted to learn the sitting exercises so I could do them whenever I'm bored. XD Taas Noo was the song again. Wee! :D After about two rounds, Tr. Tina said that the girls can come back to their own sections, but the boys will still stay. Mwahaha! XD So we went back to our rooms. Our floor was still wet. -.- Tr. Perry came and told us to go outside and pray. The Mornese girls were outside, too. We prayed with them. Weee! :D

When the boys came back we all went inside, but the floor was still a bit wet. So we moved to the "dry areas." And then it was Trigonometry time. Tr. Oyette reviewed us with our first lesson because we were going to take the retest, because many failed. It was okay, I guess. There was still a confusing part though. :(

Anyways, Drafting was the next subject. Tr. Benny was absent, and guess who was her substitute for us. Tr. Lei!! :D We went to the Arts room. It was our first time to go there. XD And we finally used the speedball pen. And at that time, we found out that there were lots of speedball pens and lots of Higgins ink provided by the school!! What the?! *sigh* Whew. We practiced the different strokes for the speedball pen. The letter P was the only decent letter I could make, most likely because it was the only one I could see in the visuals. :)) It was time, and we slowly made our way back to the classroom.

It was English period, but Tr. Ching wasn't yet there. Wow, she was later than us! Haha. And then she came. We passed our journals. And then we discussed about pronouns. And then, recess.

I ordered nuggets and two rice again. XD And I finished it again. XDXD I went to Turin to see Louise's diagram. It was still very confusing to me, and the bell rang. I went back to Mirabello.

It was time for Chemistry. We had a lecture today - a really long one. And a discussion. It was really fast. But I still understood it. Tr. Tina even demonstrated to us how to use the phenolphthalein solution. (I don't know the correct spelling. XD) It was very cool. :D

Then, Geometry. Sir Chet asked us to arrange back our chairs. AWWW. Haha. We discussed eight theorems and one postulate. I got it. ;) And after that was lunch. I went to Louise first. Michelle and Hanna followed. Louise explained the diagram, and I finally got it. Whew! :D Then Louise left. I borrowed her project.

Then, Michelle, Hanna and I started to make our way to Sir Noel to ask questions. And then we saw Raphael and Pambid waiting outside the science faculty room. They said they were going to ask Sir Mike about the project, and so we went with them. Sir Mike gave us a few pointers. Wooo! And then we also asked Tr. Tina to clarify some things. After that she told us to go ask Sir Noel about the diagram. So we did. Vielka, Christine and Jonina came with us; they just finished testing the compression strength of their blocks. Pambid saw that it was time, so we started to go back to our classroom. But Regina, Raphael and I stayed in Pavia for a while to talk to Louise about the project. Then, we hurried back to Mirabello.

Social Studies time! Finally! x) We discussed about Egypt and its Pharoahs. Haha. :D

GT was the next, and the last. We went to the workshop. Sir Toby showed us how to use the oscilloscope. That was very cool. XD Though from time to time I was minding my scratch paper for Chemistry. :))

I stayed in the corridor during dismissal for some last minute brainstorming with Raphael, Louise and Michelle for the Chem project. And then we went home. I immediately started on my Chem project. Haha! Whew!
