Hmm. Let's see . . . I went to the locker to get my stuff . . . Then I went to Mornese. I saw Abby and Meg. I told Meg that I won't be able to go with her to Sir Noel later that day, because of the schedule mix-up of IT period and lunch. Too bad. :( Anyway, Abby reminded me that no one should eat inside the classroom. Yeah!! Mwahaha.
July 13, 2010: Unexpected visit from Gramma ;)
Hmm. Let's see . . . I went to the locker to get my stuff . . . Then I went to Mornese. I saw Abby and Meg. Too bad. :( Anyway, Abby reminded me that no one should eat inside the classroom. Yeah!! Mwahaha.
After the flag ceremony, Tr. Tina walked past us. Our line, the Mirabello girls' line, followed her. I was shocked, and curious. I thought we were going inside the AVR. I thought we were having the college symposium already! XD What? That was honestly the first thing that came to my head. XDXD But we just stopped at the AVR lobby. And then I heard my classmates. We're going to do the morning exercise. Riiight. All Juniors were there at the AVR lobby. First Tr. Tina demonstrated the exercises without muisc. Then the cassette was plugged in the outlet and the CD played. The song playing was Mambo No. 5 by Ricky Martin, I think? =))) Yes, I know that song. That was one of the songs I used to sing when I was a little kid. =)) Anyway, that song was stopped, and Taas Noo started to play!! \m/ Ahh, and a smile crept over my face. :D It played while we were exercising. \m/ But Tr. Tina told Abby to change it. :)) I forgot the song. XD Then we went back to our own classrooms. Raphael called the officers. We talked about the "No eating in class" thing. Then Tr. Gwen came.
Filipino time. We took a quiz. It was okay. But I think I already have two mistakes. Tsk! T-T Geometry was the next subject. We learned all about . . . Uh . . . Types of angles? I forgot the topic! Ahh! Angle pairs. There. :D Sir Chet already announced that there will be a quiz on Thursday, and said that the quiz includes proving. Whew! Thanks for warning us in advance, sir! Now we won't be surprised if we fail the quiz. =))
Next subject was CLVE. We were supposed to have a quiz . . . But for a reason that Sir Carlos said but I didn't hear, the quiz was postponed. Wee! :)) Then we went to the AVR. We watched the movie Castaway, but not the whole thing, just the part where the main [and only] character got stuck on the island. Tom Hanks played the part for that, according to Hanna. :D It's funny because his character is really resourceful with the things there, and it's terrifying, because we were scared of his wounds. Haha! :)) And then the bell rang for recess. Aww!
The line was long at the canteen, so I decided to buy nuggets with rice. And then I did something that I haven't done yet this school year: buy two rice. And I finished them all. Yep. And my stomach was very satisfied.
The subject after recess was English. Our topic for the day: Death. It was . . . interesting. We talked about the different ways of internment of a dead person. And then, we were asked to make our own last will and testament on our journal. I never saw that coming! (Probably because Keanu was doing evil things to my hair, and I was on lookout to drive those mean forces away.) Good thing it's a take home journal. Haha!
Then we had lunch first before IT, our new schedule every Wednesday. Michelle, Hanna and I went to Canteen 1. But first, we dropped our answers for the Health trivia. Plus recitation! Weee! :)) XD In Canteen 1 there were a lot of elem peoples. In fact, the three of us were the only high school girls there. Hahaha! Hanna and I bought Pops. It was raining that time. :)) We were also "reviewing" for IT. :)) We passed through the first floor, but his section wasn't there. Ouch!! =)) XD [ Let me clarify that the guy we are talking about here is NOT my crush. The minimum age requirement for my crushes is one year younger than me. =)) ] Anyways, while we were walking through the first floor corridor, we saw Paige. She said they were already taking the quiz upstairs. We were like, "What? It's not even time yet!" We thought she was kidding with us. But then we reached our classroom and saw our classmates writing on the quiz paper. Oh no!
I tried to "review" one more time before getting the quiz paper. And my mind went totally blank. I remembered what Tr. Pines said to us when we were in Grade 5, we were taking a quiz then: "If you review something, and you forget it, your brain will surely recall and remember it. But if it was never in your mind, you'll never have a clue what it is." She said this in Tagalog, I just translated it. :D Back to Junior Year, I can't remember even one bit of the things I read in the handout. But slowly it came to me. And then I passed my paper. Then I went outside to punch holes in my handout. It was there that I learned that we were going home early. Whoa!!
My brain was very slowly processing the new piece of information it was receiving. After IT we were going to have ten minutes of homeroom with Sir Toby. Wheeeeeeeeew! We heard Valsa and Marignano cheering as were passing through them to our locker. :))
Dismissal. We bought food at McDo on our way home. Danielle and I already bought our lunch. XP Then there we were, at the house already. And there I was, struggling with my Chemistry project. T-T
