Flashback Attack
Flashbacks. Memories. We always get that bittersweet feeling when we remember them. We relive in our minds that wonderful feeling, and in the end you get a sharp pang of pain because you know you'll never have them again.
This afternoon, I didn't expect it to happen, but I suddenly caught myself thinking about Nica and Margie. How Margie would always push my chair in the IT lab, and how she and Nica torture me during quarterly exams . . . Without them, I dunno if I'll have that much craziness again in those times, you know, with my new classmates. But hey, I wasn't close with Margie when the school year started, it might happen again this year. But still, it's not going to be the same without the same people, eh?
Right now I'm texting Raya and we both feel a bit sad that we only got to be classmates for a year . . . And she was a freshman then. I am glad though that I got to be one of her first friends in CDBS. :) I miss when I was still taller than and I was always behind her when we line up . . . And I (actually everyone) would tease her and laugh and listen to her blabbers . . . :)) Those little moments that catch my attention. They made me wish these people are my classmates this year but nooooo . . .
Sigh. Oh well. It's time to move on. Speaking of that, how do you do it? You know, when it comes to a person? I've always been telling myself to do it, but the announcement . . . The thought of the two people I'd hate to be classmates THE MOST are friggin' classmates for the year . . . It's just plain cruel. The thought is literally too much to bear. Psshh.
On an unrelated note . . . Eminence, Meg, Giselle, my sister and I planned the activities for the acquaintance party for this year. Eminence sent the minutes of the online meeting, and Sir Chris, our adviser, sent it to the teachers and told us they were amazed by it. :)) Good job ESC!! :D I hope you, my fellow constituents, enjoy it :))))) Seriously, it was rather fulfilling. There's gonna be much more in store and that's what I'm really excited about. T'was really good. B-)

Puerto Princesa: City in the Forest (Day 4)
After we had eaten breakfast, we rode the van to go to the mall. Then we waited for the bus to take us to the Honda Bay Wharf. Right after we got off the bus we stepped on the boat. It wasn't the same as the one we rode when we went island hopping though, and this had a name. Calypso 10. It reminded me of the girl that Percy Jackson met when he got lost and he almost didn't want to leave because of her. :))
It was a one hour boat ride. So I slept. :)) And then we got there, and the view was just so . . . awesome. The reason it isn't included in the island hopping is because it was a private island, and it was a really big one. It's a resort. We were just there for the day trip. Weeeee. These are the rooms that the overnight stay-ers will, well, stay.
Once we got off the boat we were given complimentary drinks. Awesome, eh? When we looked for the open huts, there were none anymore. Wew! Fortunately we found some tables and chairs near a tree shade. :) We changed clothes, and we headed off for snorkeling.
We don't have any pictures because we weren't supposed to use the underwater cases they sold at the wharf. But here's the story. So we rode that speed boat (yes, we're always riding boats! Isn't that fun?) and went to the floating snorkeling station in the middle of the ocean. I know, right? :)) It was pretty deep, but we were wearing life jackets while snorkeling. The water there was really deep, and in the water near the snorkeling station there weren't any corals. All I saw was some sort of dust, until I realize it's sand. I went a bit farther, and I saw them. There were a lot of 'em. It was sooo cool. It's like a whole underwater forest in there or something :)) It was truly magnificent. x]
Except for them jellyfish. :))))) I saw one and was just strolling right under me. I swam away from it immediately :)))) What else can I do? I might have stung me! It was little, but I know it's full of some electrical substance to paralyze me. HAHAHA JOKE that was OA. Still, though. We went back to the floating station. My cousin saw more fish under the station! They were in schools. It was awesome. :))))
And then we went back. Guess what we did? \m/
We went kayaking! \:D/ That was my first time to do it for real - because I always did that on the Wii. =)))) It was sooo friggin' hard! Because I was a lame-o. :))))) We stopped first because our arms started to hurt, and it was time for lunch. We went to the dining hall and then . . . I saw it. It was a beauty. A band set-up. I swear the whole lunch time I just wanted to go up there and sing.
After that we went straight to kayaking again. \m/ I went a bit farther this time!! :))))) It was fun! There were more sea grass on the far side of the beach. T'was cool. B-) But then the clouds condensed and condensed more and it became dark, so I stopped and went back to mom and dad.
That's when it started to rain. Wew!! We went to the main lobby of the resort. We asked if there was a karaoke bar, and there was!! When we went there, unfortunately, there were three people occupying the room, since it was a first come, first serve place. So we played table football instead.
Ahaha. It was fuuuun. :))))) And then, luckily, the family went out of the KTV room, and we stepped in. OH YEAH!! But we were only there for like 30 minutes because we should board the boat at around 3:30 in the afternoon :)) But still! It was goooood. B-)
Another one hour boat ride. When we got home, we prepared for dinner. We rode a tricycle going to Salo, a restaurant near The Legend Hotel, and guess what? It's a KTV bar!! We went to a room with a karaoke and we just started singing our hearts out there while waiting for the food.
We were mostly rockin' it out in the My Chemical Romance songs :)))))))))
We stayed there for three friggin' hours. When we got back at the hotel I was sooo cold and my arms hurt so bad my dad massaged them :)) But hey, it was one amazing night. :D

Chofu.
Yes, I am one of you. (If you're Chofu too and reading this.) If not, well, I don't want to say "lucky you." You know, I've always been telling myself and Eminence that if Stephan becomes my classmate again, I'll seriously change sections. But now, aside from the fact that I'm uber lazy to go through all that hassle (if there is because I've never done that before), I just decided to accept whatever reasons and plans the Lord has in store for me to have put me there. I guess this may be overly dramatic for some of you, but I just really wanted my last school year in high school to be awesome. And now it's gonna be a challenge because of STEPHAN. Yes, I'm declaring it here loud and clear. I don't care if he sees this, he probably doesn't like me too. In fact I loath him to the bone. And then there's one other person whom I also don't like who is our classmate. (See what I did there? You probably didn't, unless you enrolled in Brain Train. Uh-huh.) And then our adviser is Tr. Jho. I hope she'll be exciting and help us in the contests. Hehehe. Yun talaga agad iniisip. Eh ganun ako eh.
Good luck sa magiging president ng Chofu. >:) Kung pwede lang, ino-nominate ko sarili ko e, kahit alam kong matatalo ako. Haha. XD But don't worry, I'll be with you every step of the way. Ahaha tae may ganun agad.
Although there are some positives too . . . See, Eminence told me that Sir Andy told him and Meg that *************************. :)) And, well, after what I saw, I think I have a pretty good chance *****************. :)))) There are a lot of plus sides as well. Like what Margie told me to cheer me up (haha solomot Margarita), I'll just think of Mirabello. Stephan was in it, but still it was pretty fun. Ahaha seriously, I'll just think of it as that. Yung sa unang tingin parang walang kwenta yung mga tao, pero sa huli, kami yung nag-shine. I'm glad to be one of the underdogs. Kasi mas malaki yung tinag ng araw sa'tin. XD Oha.
I just want to go to school now . . . Buti may gagawin kami sa school next week. Weeeee!

Puerto Princesa: City in the Forest (Day 3)
We woke up early again. T-T :))) Yeah, I hate waking up early. XD Aaanyway, haha. After the van picked us up, we went to Hotel Centro, which is several minutes away from One Rover's Place. Our company for the day was staying there. They were rich because that hotel is new and really big. Aside from that, they were also late. :))) But seeing the cute guy made it all better. :> I thought he was with the girl he went in the van with, but when an old woman (but that not old ha, just "adult;" she's still pretty though) came in, I figured the two were brother and sister. >:) The tour guide said it was a 2-hour drive from Rizal Avenue to Sabang, where the Underground River is. And then mom asked her if we could also go to the Mangrove Forest, because Eliz's mom suggested it to us and it was beautiful. Our tour guide said we could go there if it's okay with our company, and if our scheduled time for the underground river will be later.
Halfway through our journey, we stopped at a store thing, but there were also some tourists taking pictures there. Including us. HAHA
We arrived at the wharf. But it wasn't at Honda Bay. Our tour guide checked the schedule and we were scheduled for 12:30 to view the underground river. It was still around 10 in the morning, so she said we could still go to the mangrove forest. And it was okay with our companions. Weeeeee!
Ang weird ng itsura ko noh? :)))) Okay, okay, hahaha. So were asked to go in the boat and read the rules and regulations. And that guy sitting beside my sister? That's "him." ;) I envy my sister. T-T =))))
So the man in charge told us all about mangroves and the animals. The river was a bit dirty, but the view was amazing. Behind these trees lie a wonderful home for wildlife.
We saw some monkeys \m/\m/ :)) There were so many of them! And we saw a baby python and an old python, but it was all curled up and unmoving. The man said it had just eaten so it's resting for the moment.
When we were done with the tour, each of us planted our own mangrove tree to help the wildlife, because the man said after some years, the animals will grow and the mangroves will not be enough to support them, thus resulting to them going out of the forest and attack the villagers near the forest.
That's my mangrove. ;) Hahaha. So if you ever happen to vacation in Palawan, you might as well check out the Mangrove Paddle Boat Tour. You're not only visiting one of the hidden wonders of our country, but also helping out your fellow citizens. :) Oh! And by the way, we saw a tamilok, a.k.a. woodworm. And at Kinabuch's it's actually being served as a MEAL. O_O This is the worm:
After that we had a buffet lunch. Woohu! XD We were offered the woodworm but nooo way we could do that. :)))) And then we proceeded to the wharf. We got on a boat to get on the island where the underground river is. And guess what?! I sat next to him on the boat! x]] =))))
My sister thinks he's a model, because she heard him tell his mom that he needs to go back to Manila on that night because there was some kind of fitting. Wew!! \m/ Hahaha! So yeah, we went there . . . We waited a long time to actually get inside the cave, but eventually, we got there. Phew. :D
And then we got inside the cave. It was raining so there was some dripping. But we got to see the caves. It was seriously amazing. You gotta see it. And while you're at it, vote for it too! Visit
www.new7wonders.com to vote, alright? (By the way, those black things you might see in the pictures are bats.)
Could you believe that these are all-natural? Not man-made. (Duh XD) Well, after that we took some jump shots courtesy of our tour guide, but I won't post those photos here =)))) Then we rode the boat going back to the wharf, and we rode the van for 2 hours again back to the hotel. Goodbye, model guy. :)))))) And then, we ate dinner at Kinabuch's. No, no, we didn't order the tamilok. Because it was unavailable for the night. :)) Phew! x]

Dream Journal Part 3
HA! I didn't think I'd reach 10 dreams in the month of May. :)) Yahoo! XD Okay so here it is. ;)
11:18pm, Tue May-3-2011
Earlier I dreamt that my sister woke me up. And then, well, I woke up :)))) Like in real life =)) And then she told me she did wake me up but I couldn't wake up. So I wasn't entirely sure if this was a dream. XD
09:09am, Sun May-8-2011
"Holy moly." That's what I said in the note. :)) I dreamed that I was going to EK with Raffy and Astrid. :))))) Weird much? =)) But before that we did a lot of things. XD We kind of found ourselves in some room guarded by some girls . . . with superpowers. They kind of look like the female alien with the purple hair in Futurama. =)))) Anyway. XD We were kind of arrested or something because we weren't allowed to stay in the room for more than a few minutes. And then when we finally sprang out, they asked us if we already tried EK Biki. O_O Like what in the world =)))) When we arrived at EK I saw CHAMJDV. As I approached closer I saw someone so familiar. It was Klariza. O________O Yeah, I mentioned this in one of my posts before. Hahaha. It was so freaky because it kinda felt real. I hugged her, and then I saw she was a lot taller than me. Nooooooooooo! :)) Weird dream, man, weird dream. . . .
10:08am, Tue May-10-2011
My first dream had Vanessa Hudgens in it =))))) She stayed in our house!! I was talking to her about Beastly. =)) But she was a snob. O____O We were going to watch a movie that time and I got pissed. :))))) They noticed my mood, and suddenly we were in a cable car and I was hanging on (overreacting, of course) for dear life. I was scared :)))) And then the scene changed again. I was in The Toy Company =)) 100 Days? =)) And I decided to make my own company and I was president. Some employees went to me :> And then I needed to choose an assistant when it comes to meetings and the like. I chose some guy to be the vice president. And Meg was there. O_____O (Have you noticed that Meg's in a lot of my dreams? Why, Meg, why?! =)))) Yeah she's there, and I gave her a somewhat low position. And then I regretted that I didn't choose her as my vice president. -.- Haha!
05:26am, Mon May-16-2011
I dreamed of the new teachers in school. O_O And there was a new subject, because the teacher was talking about time. Like, really talking about it, every little detail and she was taking it so seriously. It was kinda weird. And then Reg was there. :))))) And then she told me that our teacher's favorite numbers were 7, 3, 2, and 1. And then I high fived with the teacher :))))))) (Because those are my favorite numbers. XD)
09:46am, Thu May-19-2011
I dreamed that my mom and I talked about Palawan. About Coron. Weiird. Because we really did talk about it. Wah! What the heck, Denise? You're turning into a schizophrenic! :))
09:46am, Tue May-24-2011
I dreamt that there was a talent contest at school. And then there was a kid, when the prize was given to him, it was a liquid. He couldn't drink it. He was given a drink three times. :)) In the 3rd time, the drink was poured into his EAR so that it wouldn't spill on anything. O_O And everyone applauded. =))
05:55am, Sat May-28-2011
Okay I dreamed that Louise texted me. She replied to my text. But in reality I didn't text her at all. :)))) Yeah, that was just my dream for the day. XD
05:55am, Sat May-28-2011
I dreamed about Anne Curtis. :((((( Then she gave her number and stuff . . . Wah, it was a freaky dream. :(( But it really was her. And it really was weird. O_O
07:33am, Sun May-29-2011
I dreamed that I've been chosen to be a representative for the NCSM! \m/ It's a PSYSC related event. :D And since I've learned about it, I've been wanting to join it. :))))) I was sooo happy in the dream :))) And then Amos was the guy representative who was chosen. I was like what the :))))) I just wish that dream would be real. :(
08:18am, Mon May-30-2011
Okay, so I needed to go to school on this day. I woke up real early so I took a nap. I woke up when it was almost time to go but I still took another nap (This is in my dream now). When I woke up again, it was 1 in the afternoon, but we were supposed to go before 10 in the morning. So I said we should go at 3. Mom was there, in the dream. And then I wrote this right after I woke up . . . and it was still 8 in the morning. XD
08:32am, Tue May-31-2011
Weeeew. So I dreamt that I was kidnapped along with another person, I know she was a Bosconian but I forgot who she was. :)))) And then five more people got kidnapped because of us, including Meg and Abby! O_O I had a long talk with Abby. O_O :)) And eventually the "unknown girl whom I was with" and I escaped, and we looked for some help. We rode a car going back to the house to help the five other people escape. And suddenly Matthew was there. But he was riding a bicycle. =))))) And then he saw Jupiter from the sky. It was visible from our point. =)) I found it weird, but I was amazed, while Matthew was so scared because he was thinking of the galactic alignment. =)))) And then when we finally got back to the house I screamed the hostages' names :))))) And there. We saved them. :)) We "put the kidnappers to sleep." >:) Oh, and before that dream I had another one: Molly, Hannah and Alexandria were singing to Brittani (Brittani was singing too) . . . in ASAP. O_____O I was star-studded in the dream I couldn't believe they'd actually come here and in ASAP =))))) And it really was not real. T_T

Puerto Princesa: City in the Forest (Day 2)
We woke up real early today . . . O_O We had a continental breakfast at Tio Rod's. Then we went in the van to have our island hopping at Honda Bay! :D But first we picked up some other people we were going to be with for the day. They were two couples (as in two pairs ha) and then the other group was from Sheridan, a place far away from Rizal Avenue where we were staying, so we just met with them at the wharf.
We rode a boat. :D Our first stop was Starfish Island. It took us about 20 minutes to get there. And when we finally did, it was kind of awkward. :)))) Anyway, we took a picture with the Hawaiian thingy and the tarps. And then I put on my bald cap haha just kidding that was a lame joke. I put on my swimming cap that my cousin lent me. It was protection for my hair. Darn hair. :))
We put on our snorkeling gear that we rented back at the wharf. That was my very first time to go snorkeling. :D It was sooo awesome to breath and see clearly underwater! Plus, we also rented those silicon coated camera cases so that we can take pictures underwater. Wooooooo! :D And then a boatman approached us, said that he could take us to the corals. That, my friends, was also my first time to see corals. XD It was soooo amazing.
And then we went fish feeding! We fed them with bread. They said we couldn't feed them anything else but bread because if we do they'll look for that food with the other tourists that will come feed them, so yeah. Haha.
Unfortunately, one of the people we came there with got bitten by a stone fish because he stepped on a coral. You see, when you step on a coral either a stone fish or a sea urchin will go out and bite you or something. Our tour guide told us that one guy even stayed in the hospital for 2 months because of that. Yeah, I got scared. But not that scared. ;)
Next island, Snake Island. No, there are no snakes there over Snake Island. It was named that because of its shape. Yes, it's shaped like a snake. :D Again we went snorkeling there and we were guided by the boatman. Mom went with us this time. The boatman took pictures of us and of the corals and fish. We went fish feeding again! Each time I put out bread they'll come near it. It was pretty awesome! :D
Look at that coral . . . Pretty amazing, huh? :)
The last island that we went to was called Pandan Island. Our tour guide told us that there were a lot of sea urchins there, so I got scared and didn't go to the water anymore. :)))))) I'd rather do that than stay in a hospital for months. No way. :)) But we did do something else. ;)
Yes, we rode a banana boat! For those who don't know how banana boat works, it's just a floating material (as you can see) being sort of dragged by a speedboat. The people there are really great; they told us they could take pictures of us on the banana boat while they were on the speedboat. Like this:
Pretty awesome, eh? XD Ahaha! Oh, and before that, someone who was working over at the island taught us some pretty cool "camera tricks." Like this one. :D
Our dinner was at 8:30, because that was the time that mom reserved at Kalui, the "best restaurant in Puerto Princesa" or so they say. They let you take your footwear off. :)) And then my cousin sort of fell in love with our waiter. He's white, and his name tag says his name is Tom. So yeah, she's in love with Tom. :))))) But that's not why this dinner is so exciting. It's cause we had dinner with Eliz's family here! :D So awesome. :))))
And yep, that's it. :D

Puerto Princesa: City in the Forest (Day 1)
First stop? Airport, of course! I just said that because I wanted to share what happened when we were checking in there. We saw this really cute American boy!! And he wasn't our age, he was like a baby!! Gah, he was just so cute we couldn't forget him! I think he saw my taking a picture of him and I thought he got scared but guess what? He played with us!! 8-> Every time we look at him he'd like scream a cute girly scream. And he's laughing!! Soooo friggin' cute!! :D:D Here's a picture of him:
We arrived at Palawan, mom looked for a van to drive us to the place we're staying. Turns out there was already an arranged driver and van for us, and he was waving a cardboard that says my mom's name in her face. :))))) When we arrived at the hotel (which was just a few minutes away from the airport) we saw mom's name again. XD
We were in two separate rooms: one for mom and dad, the other for me, my sister and cousin. Ours was upstairs while theirs was on the first floor. Oh, the hotel wasn't as big as Galleria or anything like that because we're only poor. :)))) We ate lunch at Tio Rod's which was the hotel's resto place. We ordered a California Maki but it looked kinda weiird. It ain't California Maki, it's Palawan Maki. XD
And then we had a city tour. We stopped by a park (I think) where some American soldiers were burned by the Japanese during the second world war. Too bad we didn't get to go there because of the damn rain. :( And then we went to a souvenir shop. I bought some key chains for my friends and a shoe bag that says Palawan. I've always wanted that kind of bag. Now I've got it! :D
Our next stop was the Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center, a.k.a. Crocodile Farm. :D We saw a skeleton and skin of a dead crocodile. This crocodile was really huge, although I forgot its actual measurements. -.- Anyway, we saw some baby crocs, they were 1-5 years old. Some of them weren't even moving that I thought they were just statues. Until they opened their mouths, showing their pointed teeth. O_O
They were still cute though, you know compared to older ones. Damn! We were on a bridge on top of the habitat of the big crocodiles. It was all of my fears combined: heights, falling, animals that can eat me. I can't smile naturally because I was too focused on not falling. :)) On the last part there were two freaking big crocodiles. O_____O I don't think we have a picture of it though. Man. I'm glad to be alive. XD
After that each of us (me, my sister, my cousin) took a picture holding a baby crocodile! It was kind of ticklish at first cause it kept moving its legs and tail. And then the man in charge told me to tighten my grip on the croc's neck and then it stopped moving. I actually thought I killed it. :)))))) But nah. XD Its skin was surprisingly soft so it's okay to hold it. :D Wew!

Then we went to Mitra's Ranch, home of the son of an ex-politician in Palawan. Mitra is his surname. There were chickens, horses and cows and all those animals . . . But we didn't go outside the van because it was still raining. It was raining real hard. It was too bad because you could see the view of Honda Bay from there, but oh well. Then we went to Baker's Hill and bought some bread, brownies and crinkles. Mmm. :D After that, we went to Binutuan Creations, where they weave to make different things. The designs are amazing, but again, we didn't take any pictures. T-T Although I got to try the machine they use. :D
By the way, our tour guide told us that every 3rd week of June, every citizen of Puerto Princesa goes to the forest to plant a tree there, because their mayor is half-German and a nature lover. It was actually pretty awesome. I wish all cities in the Philippines are like that, but noooo.
Oh! And their tricycles are different, too. Five people can ride in it. Yes, five!! And they're color-coded, white and blue, alternating each day so each tricycle driver has a chance of having passengers. And it's not traffic there because the buses and jeepneys can only go at one place. It's so awesome. . . . @-)
Dinnertime! :D We rode the tricycle to a place called Balinsasayaw. We ordered sisig and calamares and some other foods. :D We had a freakin' hearty meal at the end of the day. :D
But wait! That's not it! When we were walking home to our hotel, we saw Eliz and her parents! She and my sister practically lost their minds. It was pretty awesome. =)))) Even if she's not my friend, it was still mindblowing to see someone you know in another province. The heck. :)))
