I was up earlier from 2a.m. onwards . . . Hahaha :)) Silly me. I was trying to sleep, but it was so quiet - too quiet - that my mind was screaming a lot of ideas, and so I couldn't sleep. I was browsing my phone for random things, then I checked my calendar. It was already Thursday, December 30. One more day and 2010's over. Tomorrow there will be a lot of FIREWORKS launched into the sky to celebrate the year of the . . . uh . . . I don't know, exactly. :)) =)) Anyway, that's not the point. 3:35 AMGIFs: A new obsession
If you don't already know, there are a bunch of things I like to focus on making. For example, I first made poems when I was in Grade 5; stories in Grade 3; songs in Grade 6; and videos in first year. And now I have a new addiction: GIFs.
First and for most, what does GIF mean?
The acronym 'GIF' is short for 'Graphics Interchange Format.' I have no idea what that all means, I just looked it up with the help of my pal Google. XD To me it's kind of like a short video clip - but it's an image! Haha, now I don't know why people would like to do that. Maybe to save some space. I kind of don't care. :))
GIFs were introduced to us during the 1st quarter this school year, when we were learning Adobe Photoshop CS3 in our IT subject. I didn't really care then. :)) But then, I was introduced to Tumblr. After months of exploration, I reblogged a lot of GIF images from there. And I got inspired. That, and, the constant itching to display my favorite scenes from the movies I've just watched. Want to take a guess what those movies are? Yes, I'm talking about the Harry Potter movies. XD But I'm making other GIFs, too. Still, the HP GIFs are dominating. :D
Easy A! This is a great movie. Haha. Wew!
So there. As you can see I'm really obsessed with making GIFs right now. Weeeeeeeeeeeee! Gonna use 'em all on Tumblr. XD

Confession: I have never read nor watched the Harry Potter series.
Until this Christmas vacation. ;)
'Kay, so I was planning to read the books first, but I only got the first two books from Giselle because Michelle borrowed them. On the other hand, Eminence lent me a DVD collection of Harry Potter 1-5, Star Wars 1-5, and Lord of the Rings 1-3. I haven't watched Star Wars and Lord of the Rings yet, I'm getting to that. XD
So yes. Now I know all about Hagrid, Professor Albus Dumbledore, Professor Minerva McGonagall, Professor Severus Snape, Lucius and Draco Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle, Dobby (but I've known him before when I watched the Deathly Hallows - yes that is the first Harry Potter movie I've ever watched, eerily weird I know), Fred and George and Ginny and Percy Weasley, Remus, Sirius Black, and of course: You-know-who/He-who-must-not-be-named/Tom Marvolo Riddle/Voldemort. Now I know when to use "Wingardium leviosa," "Expecto patronum," "Alohomora," "Bombarda," "Obliviate," "Immobulus," "Riddikulus," and soooo many more. ;) And now, now I'm just waiting for my Hogwarts letter to arrive. :-)
HAHAHA. I haven't watched the Half-blood Prince yet so don't spoil me.
As I am typing this, I'm speaking the words I type in here. In my head. With a British accent. Does that make me a fan now?
Aaaaanyway, I thought I should let you know who my favorite Harry Potter characters are. Hahaha not really I'm just really running out of things to do.
1. Hermione Granger - Why of course, who wouldn't admire this sweet, little know-it-all who is very much obsessed with school and studying and all that nonsense? Who, I ask you, WHO?! Hermione's the best, she's always there to help a friend out using the knowledge she has. I mean, who needs explaining? Hermione is absolutely the best.
2. Ron Weasley - I am a fan of the Ron-Hermione tandem. My sister thought she and Harry are gonna end up together. I did too, and I was actually shocked when I first learned about Ron and Hermione. But then I finally watched the movies, and I think they're perfect for each other. Total opposites, but they complete each other. Plus I think Ron's individually awesome, too. I love his expressions. :D Bloody hell. Bloody brilliant. Wicked.
3. Severus Snape - He's actually awesome. Even though he might be racist (as Regina said), because he favors students from his house, Slytherin. He's actually a very sensible man. Er, wizard. :) He even saves Harry and his friends in unexpected moments. That's why I like him - he shows up very unexpectingly in the times they need him the most.
4. Albus Dumbledore - I personally like his words of wisdom. :D I did not, however, recognize that the Dumbledore from the third movie is already different from the first two ones. Hmm. I am really not very observant when it comes to these things.
5. The Weasley Twins - They're as funny as twins can be. XD And they're really amazing wizards. Witty, too. I like 'em! :D
6. Hagrid - This gentle giant is simply adorable! :D:D He's awesome. He's Harry's first friend and he's one of those few who always believes in him. Such a nice guy. He's the type of guy who reminds you that there are some people who, even with a huge and tough exterior, can be really soft deep inside. So don't be fooled by looks. ;)
7. Lord Voldemort - Hahaha NOT REALLY. I just thought I could fool you. I don't like him one bit. Okay, except in the Twitter world, where he actually tweets some pretty funny stuff. Yeah.
Funny, did you ever notice that I didn't put Harry Potter's name in there? HAHA. I like him, but, well, you know . . . I'm not the type that falls for the obvious guys. XD Or am I??
I'm out - for now. I'm gonna make another blog, about either my experiences this year 2010 or my new year's resolutions for next year. Oh well. We'll find out in about ten minutes. XD In the mean time . . .

Christmas Day
So last night on Christmas Eve, I opened the gifts my friends gave me . . . LOL just kidding I opened them ages ago. =))) My sister didn't, though. She just opened them last night. She got a headset from her exchange gift - Mia. I was like, "Damn!!" :)) Seriously, cool. XD Hmm, what else did she get? Let's see . . . the sticky pads our dentist gave us (I received those too) . . . a coffee cup (but really it's just a container for pencils or something) . . . a really long necked piggy (given to her by Cunanan) . . . a tiny bear from Blue Magic named Misty . . . a few short letters . . . a rosary . . . more notepads . . . Yeah I don't know anymore. :))))) And so, just for the heck of it, I put out mine, too. XD
I loved all the gifts. \m/ Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Some of my favorite ones are the ones that CHAMJDV gave me. From Christine - towel and some colognes from Bench; from Hanna - a cupcake and a mini scrapbook [ I'm gonna make mine a diary though =)) ]; from Aivette - white RayBan sunglasses \m/ [ I kind of wanted a blue one but this is okay XDXD ]; from Michelle - a necklace that has a guitar on it \m/; from Vielka - a pink pen. =)) A pink pen that's shaped to be like a hippo. Cool, right? Hahaha! XD Of course, all gifts are awesome, because it's the giving that matters! :) BTW, I named Meg's gift Hermione. =))))
Hmm, what else is new? Oh. I still haven't bought the book we should read for the English assignment. Nice me. :))) Man . . . One more week and this is all over. Noooooooooooooo! I don't want it to end. T-T
I had a dream last night by the way. Funny. :))))

I have a new song on my blog! :)) It's titled "Grenade," sung by Bruno Mars. It's an awesome song. I'm addicted to it right now. In fact, I saw someone covering it on YouTube by a girl, and she sings quite well. BRINGING THE CHRISTMAS CHEER FROM SKG
Anyway, I'm getting off the topic here. This blog is about what happened yesterday and the other day. Wanna know what we did? My service mates and I went caroling on the streets of San Lorenzo! \m/ Oh yeah. On the first day it was just me, my sister, Michelle, Irish, Deryk, and Miguel, invading the whole 1A and 1A-annex. It was kind of awkward at first. :)))) Oh, and we practiced first with the guitar, and then we finally started walking. Our first stop - and we did not know anyone on our very first house - gave us 20 pesos. We were all like, "Cool!!" But I guess it was just beginner's luck because some didn't even wait for us to sing to reject us.
But some houses were very generous - even the ones we didn't know! But of course, we went to the house of Bosconians and other people we know to get higher amounts of money. =)) And guess how much we ended up with. 618 pesos, man!! Awesome. \m/ There were only six of us then, and so we earned about a hundred each. Yeah!! \m/ Haha. And then we all went home. :)
DAY 2
Miguel and Deryk came first, then my sister and I, along with our cousin, got dressed and went outside. Michelle and Irish arrived. We walked to their house but their dad had to drop their mom off somewhere using their jeep. So we walked to where the tricycle station(?) was, but we were so slow that Michelle and Irish's dad caught up to us! :)))) So we hopped on the jeep - and believe me, it wasn't easy. :)) But we did. XD And we rode to Giselle's house, our first stop of the day. She asked permission from her mom first . . . And she was allowed to go! Yey! :)) And so we rode away!
Oops, but Miguel and Deryk couldn't fit in the jeep anymore. =)) So they walked all the way to Phase 1. Oh, I mean they ran because they actually caught up to us. They even wanted to race against the jeep. =)) We went to Carl's house, but they weren't there. Damn! :)) So we started to walk our way to the houses. We went to Adam's house. HAHAHA! :)) That was funny. Then we went to Jovielle's house, but they weren't there like Carl. So we started caroling in the other houses.
We walked to Chelsea's house. Luckily they were there. ;) We sang "Last Christmas." Hahaha! :)) Her sister Kathleen gave us the money. Weeeee! XD And then we caroled in other Bosconian's houses too: Inah de Castro, Jalen, and Margie . . . But nothing could ever beat Paolo's family. Amen.
GOING HOME
But not just yet. We stopped at Giselle's house to count the money we earned. =)) Each of us earned almost P300 in just that night. =)) Wew!! Then we watched Deryk play the piano. Man, was he awesome! I have some videos of him playing some on my YouTube page. ;) Watch to see how amazing he is! :) And then after that, we all went home.
DAY 3
Danielle, Michelle, Irish, Miguel, Deryk and I walked to Giselle's house. Yeah. We walked. :)) Deryk played the piano for about an hour first, I think, because it was still a bit early. XD Long story short, we did not earn as much as we did the day before. DUH. :)))) So we used our money right then and there. We ate barbecue together! XDXD Bonding time. Hahaha. :))) [ We still saved some, though, and in the end each of us had still 20 pesos. XD ] We walked back to Giselle's house, and we watched "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire." \m/ Didn't get to finish it, though, they said we should finish it the day after so that there's suspense. Hahaha! :))
DAY 4
Okay, we didn't go caroling this day anymore. We just watched some movies. Okay, at first, while waiting for Michelle and Irish to arrive, we covered the songs "Just the Way You Are" by Bruno Mars and "Billionaire" by Travie McCoy feat. Bruno Mars. But they were fails. :)))) Then Michelle and Irish arrived, so we continued watching where we left at Harry Potter. Then we watched "Bruce Almighty." Hahaha! :)) It was kinda guy but really cool at the end. =)) And then we did a better version of our "Just the Way You Are" cover. Then one by one we all started going home. Haha!
Wow. 2 minutes 'til Christmas. MERRY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE!

I would go through all this pain, take a bullet straight through my brain. Yes I would die for you baby, BUT YOU WON'T DO THE SAME.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!! How's your vacation so far? x] Mine's going GREAT. I have a lot to do this Christmas break! \m/ Last Friday, we had the LAMEST Christmas party ever!! [ Hehe. The adjective 'lamest' is inspired by a photo album I saw on FB. :))))) ] Anyway . . . Yes, our Christmas party was lame. I thought it was going to be fun, you know, Mirabello and all. But as it turned out, there was one nasty thorn among all the awesome roses - but I won't tell you who he/she is. [ D'you get the he/she part? Hahaha. =)) ] The best part about when we were in school was . . . was . . . Oh! When I gave Tr. Oyette my gift. :))))))))))
And then, after the Christmas Party, we headed to Vielka's house for a heck of a movie marathon. \m/ But first when we got there, we had a pictorial in Vielka and her sister's room (with the awesome green wallpaper) in front of their mirror - using a DSLR camera. Way cool. x] Then we opened our gifts. :D We ate Hanna's gift to us. It's a cupcake. Mine's purple. Yehey. :)) We had pictures of it - pictures of us eating it. Yummy, man. :))))
And then we had a hell of a movie marathon. First up was Charlie St. Cloud. 'Kay, I slept for some minutes in the middle part while we were watching that, because I was sitting on the, um, recliner thingy chair thing. :)) I woke up to the sounds of my friends laughing at me, making fun of me. FUN. O_O Luckily I still caught up to the end. Zac. Is. Hot. :)) After that was a Walk to Remember, a movie taken from a book by Nicholas Sparks - a book I haven't read, by the way. I watched the movie. Made me tear up a bit. Especially because . . . Secret. :P It's kinda sad, though. :( And then, after that, I finally got to watch Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone! \:D/ Life is sweet. :)) But we didn't finish it because we had to eat dinner.
Dinner at Vielka's house! Oh yeah. The barbecue! I freaking missed their barbecue. \m/ There were a lotta food, and I really liked it. :))))) Then Christine and Jonina had to go because they were going to be picked up at Walter Mart. Awwwwww. So Michelle, Hanna, Vielka and I hung out at their, um, what do you call that part of the house? Sorry, but we don't have one. =)) Then I got to try the camera! :D Way cool. :) At 8, Michelle's dad came and we all went home. (Except for Vielka. XD)
When I got home, my cousin Ate Jessica was playing with the Wii. Yeah! \m/ :) I love playing with it. We're playing with it right now! \m/ Been playing with it since Friday. \m/ XD I'm getting addicted. Isn't it obvious? :)) And then yesterday I finished the movie Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone! Wahoo! \m/ And I am currently reading the book. XD Heck yeah. The adventure begins now. :))
I've also been growing fonder and fonder of the Vegas Pro 9.0! I experimented with it yesterday. Made two videos. Wee! XD Haha. I'm hoping to explore more tomorrow, I mean later today, when I wake up. Haha. XD And then, I'm still planning to video guitar covers. XD And I'm gonna dedicate it to some people I know - some people who can relate to it. XDXD Hahaha! AND I'm cooking for our Christmas feast. :9 I mean, I'll try. Haha! Yum! x]
I still haven't bought the book Tr. Ching gave for our reading assignment this Christmas vacation. Oh well. We got two weeks, man. I'm living it up before reality gets all up in my face again. :)) My brain is on vacation, too, and she badly needs the time off. Not that I don't mind. \m/
