My week to shine. >:)
I can still feel it in the air, I see your pretty face, run my fingers through your hair.
WOW. I just realized that my last blog post was a week ago. That's a long time to not update a blog. At least for me. :D So here I am.
Actually, I think nothing that interesting has been happening in my life these past few weeks. Dunno why. Monday, afternoon practices started. Man, I even forgot where we practiced that day. And what actually happened. I'm guessing not that much. And then Tuesday . . . Uh . . . Oh, Sir Noel was thirty minutes late to our class that day, and since classes that day were only thirty minutes per period, we had no Geometry. Hooray! >:) In CLVE, we started watching the movie Changeling starring Angelina Jolie. It's about a mother who would stop at nothing to find her true son. :) I've watched it before (but didn't start it); it's a wonderful movie. :) By the way, we watched the movie with Mornese, so that was fun. :D
We practiced in the Cimatti Dome. Yes, I remember now! :D Oh, I think we practiced in the gym on Monday. :)) Anyway, after the practice, Michelle and I attended the Echoes meeting in the IT lab. I've got two assignments for this issue. Yey. :)) xP After the meeting, we waited for our service. Margie and Jamsy were there, um, sulking. We learned that they were on the verge of quitting the intra-school dance contest because the guards wouldn't let them practice even though they already have their letter. Which is stupid. I meant the guards. Actually, this issue has been going on ever since the start of the school year. They're afraid that some students who stay after school hours might do PDA or something worse. I guess that's very thoughtful, but what happened to Margie and Jamsy and their dance group, what happened to us students each time we practice for a project/contest, had always been . . . Well, just completely irritating. Curse you, people who did PDA in the previous years that made the faculty decide to implement this stupid letter thing. Hmm. Maybe we should make an amendment/new law for that, eh?
Anyway, I almost forgot another important event that happened last Tuesday: our final soccer game. I tremble every time I thought about it - I thought about it too much that I started feeling the pressure. We've lost against 2nd year and 1st year, and I thought, we couldn't mess up this time, even if it's against the 4th year. I, as the goalkeeper, should not mess this up. So while taking the quiz in Chemistry (our last subject that day) I was already trembling because of thinking about the game. And then the hour came. No one bothered to lend me gloves this time. :)) But I actually didn't do much in that game, which was awesome. :P Because Eena kept hitting the ball so it could go near our opponent's goal. Nice Eena!! :D Seriously, she was such a great defender. :) So the score was 0-0 when the time was up. Wew! So we had to do penalty kick. It was my first time to do that ever. Seniors were all around me, cheering for, well, the seniors. :)) So that got me down. :)) And damn was I stupid as ever. That got me down that I cried. Yeah, I cried. Again. Damn. xP Oh well . . . After changing clothes I wasn't so depressed anymore.
Wednesday. Hmm, what happened again?? O_O We only had the first four periods because of the early dismissal, so that meant no Geom! Rejoice, everyone! >:) :D We practiced in Drafting and Health for our practical test PE. Wew. Partners were changed because of the lack of our DBAA players. [ They're gone for a whole week. :) ] So for the first song we're dancing which is Can I Have This Dance, Pambid and James are my partners. Dunno yet for the second song, Kiss From a Rose. Oh well. Goodbye, CoCo Chanel.
Recess, Christine revealed something to me. >:) Lunch, we ate snacks first, and then we watched the soccer base game against 1st year. That was a total fail :)) Didn't even get to play the third inning because of the great advantage of the 1st year. Damn. :))))) Hahaha. :P And then we practiced in the gym again and saw the little kids dancing again. (We saw them on Monday. Hahaha!) Then, Thursday, I finally revealed what CoCo Chanel means in my life. =)) And then we watched the boys' soccer game against the 4th year. Man, was Kuya LJ good. xP The final score was 2-1, so I guess it was okay since they just got ahead by 1 point, unlike their other games. :D:D But still, it was depressing that we lost a game two times for the week. Not counting the girls' soccer game that occurred last Monday. T-T After watching the game we had our practice in the covered area. We learned the steps to Teenage Dream. Weeeeeeeeeeee!
And Friday. Hmm. What happened again?? :)) Oh. We had another quiz in Chemistry. Yeah, 2 quizzes in a week. Wew! But it was okay. It was easy :) In Filipino we also had a quiz. T-T But it was also easy. XD In Internet time, we didn't even bother to go to the IT lab anymore because we only had 25 minutes per period this time. Michelle was talking to Keanu on the phone, which was funny but frightening if Sir Toby ever caught us. :)) Then, mass time. Then, recess. After that we had the 5th, 6th, and 7th period. Two periods of Trigo. We also had a quiz there. It was easy. Thank you, Tr. Oyette. HAHAHA! Wew! :)) In Music . . . Well, no one really showed up so it was our free time :))))
During lunch, the girls were getting ready for their game of soccer base against 4th year. I went looking for Christine, Jonina and Vielka, in the two canteens, but it turned out that they were just in the AVR, finishing Changeling. So I also went in and watched with them since Michelle and Hanna were both participating in the game. :)) Sadly, we didn't finish the movie. Christine and Jonina went to eat lunch, while Vielka and I watched the ongoing game. We went downstairs to get a closer view. Man, the game was tough. Karistia, Marnie and Dada entered the team, since the last time Ate Mikee from 4th year, who played soccer, also played soccer base against 1st year. So we just gotta be fair to each other. :D Anyway, there, it was only the first inning. The progress was great. Second inning, and . . . DAMN!! Karistia kicked the ball and ran towards first base, but she was hit by the ball by the pitcher. BUT NOT BEFORE HITTING THE BASE. But still, she was called out! Can you believe it?!?!?!?! I'm not blaming the 4th year peeps or mad at them or anything because clearly it's not their fault. It's the damn referee. Wanna know who that is? UGH. Just take a guess. x( Seriously, man, that was IN!! If Karistia was counted in - and believe me, she really truly clearly and obviously was - and hit a home run, a third inning might not even be possible since our score would be too high to reach. Damn. Seriously, I hated that. Worst referee ever. Of course he couldn't see it because a player was blocking his freaking view!! We could have won if it weren't for his stupid referee-ing! Damn him to the bone!! UGH.
And then we were called by Tr. Tina because we had an outreach program thing. My friends and I volunteered. :D Gonna make a mini CHAMJDV. HAHAHA! =)) Then, practice, under the sun, in the field. Damn . . . But after one round, Tr. Tina made us practice in front of the gym instead, so it wasn't that hot anymore. Weeeeeeeeeeee! :) Heading home, we bought food at McDo :)) And teased RJ. :)) Oh, FilCam.
Well, that was my week. Guess that was pretty long. Haha. :)) Goodbye.
All the times I wasted on you, all the bull**** you took me through.
Oh, and the DBAA players are gonna be back next week! Hooray. (Sarcastic much?)

January 14, 2011: Got sweat?
Should I even blog about this week? Part of me doesn't want to, but I will, to save memories. ;)
Hmm. I'm just gonna blog about yesterday. xP That was Friday, January 14, 2011. Early in the morning we got scolded by Tr. Tina. She said that we feel like it's already Foundation Day, not coming to our usual place for the assembly, not bringing our liturgy guides, and not wearing the right attire for school. After that we were given 10 minutes to prepare for the practice of our field demo - under the sun. Man. Seriously. Yesterday the sun was so hot. [-( And we actually stayed there. "Ouch," said my skin. We stayed there for about 2 hours only but it felt more than that because of the heat.
Then we were asked to stay in the classrooms. Boys in Mira, girls in Mornese, leaders in Turin. We were doing nothing in there. Absolutely nothing. Raya, Nica, and some other girls were playing, then Astrid and her friends also joined them :) Then Reg and I were called. Wew. Not gonna say what it's about. >:) And then when we came back to the classrooms, we were dismissed for recess. Didn't eat rice because I didn't feel like it :)) I mean, I was already down. And I didn't know why. Okay, maybe I did, but it was hard for me to admit. Hahaha. :))
Then we were told that the girls' volleyball game will be held in a matter of minutes in the Cimatti Dome! And so Hanna, Vielka and I went up to watch. Fortunately, the game wasn't starting yet. Actually, none of our junior players weren't even there yet! :)) The game was against the freshmen girls. So, there, our 7 volleyball players finally arrived, and the game started. Well, long story short, the game had a duration of 2 sets, and we juniors won. Nice one!! :D We thought it was all over, but we learned that the boys are up next. Go juniors!! \m/ Hahaha. Unfortunately, though, I didn't get to finish it because Djyrin called us, the soccer girls, to prepare for our game because it was coming up next. Wew!!
I didn't change my clothes much, just my spikes :) And then Djyrin lent me her long-sleeve shirt. Weeeeeeeee! I like that shirt. :)) And then we had practice in the field. I noticed that our batchmates were already there, cheering for us. Awesome!! That actually felt good. XD But then, I start to feel myself dehydrating. Before the game. Then some of our batchmates moved closer to us, and I dehydrated even more. Pressure, man. I was the keeper. O_O Then Glenn lent me keeper gloves. Hahaha! It felt really itchy to me :)) That was the first time I ever used gloves in my life of playing soccer.
And them, game started. We were also playing against the freshmen. Julia was a great player there. O_O I forgot who made the first goal there but the second was hers. See, there was a penalty. Julia made the shot. I hated myself for that because I was, like, an inch too far. :(( Seriously, I was losing hope. :( And then, something happened. During the second half, the freshmen had a corner kick. Julia, of course, was the one who made the kick. Fortunately, I caught it. PHEW. Now that got my blood stirring and my energy roared back to life. And then, we had an opportunity (but actually we had lots of opportunities :]) through a corner kick by Djy. Yes, it was a goal. :D Wahoo! x]]
Unfortunately, that wasn't enough, because time was already up. :(( But, oh well. At least we scored, right? ^^ Man. Right after we shook hands with our opponents, I went upstairs to drink some water. I felt hot. No, seriously. Even when I went to the Cimatti Dome, I was still dehydrate after drinking water. Thankfully Nica agreed to get my jug. Thanks, Nica :) We waited for the basketball game. The wait was long. XD But finally, it started. Juniors played against the freshmen again :) Migs, Carl and Dale were the freshmen players that stood out for me :) But our basketball guys remain unfazed. :D The freshmen played great, though XD Final score was 41-38. Cool!!
There were no more games after that. Then the conduct awardees and achievers were announced. And that was when I really started hating my life. Not my friends. My life. That made me love my friends more, you know xP All of them. *sigh* Seriously, only Trigo made me smile. Tsk. Wah. But, we saw Tissue! \m/ It was noisy =)) But very refreshing. XDXD Who wouldn't miss her, eh? :D And then Vielka's sis, Ate Alayne, had an accident with her eyes, and she couldn't see yesterday because her left eye was hit with a soccer ball and she was wearing contacts :(( I hope she's fine now. . . .
That's it, I guess. Didn't continue our band practice for today. I think we're just going to wing it on Tuesday for the screening. Now how is that? HAHAHA. :)) Oh, well. Good luck to us. It's just for fun, anyway. This year, at least. Next year, it's game time. :D:D
Hey, you. Hey, you. Now we're into something new.

Acceptance. FINALLY!
This time we're not giving up, let's make it last forever. :)
Watta song :) Anyway, I'm back to give an update of what's been happening these past two days. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. ^__^
January 10, 2011
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEORGE!! :)) =)) If you must know, George is also known by the name of Regina Lopez. XD Wahoo! :)) Hmm. What did we do again? Oh. :)) So, in the morning, we practiced the dance for the field demo. Our theme this year is about hearts, I think, or something like that, and I think it is wicked. XD We learned the steps to our first song, which is Mare by the Black Eyed Peas. Hahaha. :P Did that for three hours. Wee! :)) Coco Chanel.
Then, recess. Then, first subject, which was IT. Sir Andy was absent, so Tr. Pia was our sub, and we just answered an activity in our book. A first for IT! :)) And then, Filipino. Whoa. I forgot what we did. =))))) I think I just doodled California Girls. :))) And then, Chem. We were going to have Chem for one hour because we were going to make our project, which is a detergent bar/soap/whatever. So we proceeded to the Chem lab. We kept stirring and stirring and stirring and stirring . . . (Seriously, we did mostly that for the whole hour) And suddenly, Tr. Tina approached me. O_O Dum dum dum!! It was scary at first and then she told me something unexpected :)) You won't get to guess and I won't tell you what it is we talked about >:) Anyway, there, we finished our mixture and put it into my crappy mold.
After that we had lunch. Soccer game. Sports Fest is different this year. It isn't per section this time, but per batch. Unleash the batch spirit. :)) No seriously :)))) I'm gonna play soccer :D Of course, I wasn't there when the sports were assigned, but I wouldn't have had it any other way. XD Anyway . . . So I thought Coritha's gonna be playing soccer, so I thought she was gonna be our keeper. And I thought I was finally going to play defense. Unfortunately, I had it all wrong. Coritha was playing in soccer base. T-T Since there were no other volunteers for keeper, I had to play. :(
Eh, it was . . . okay? Okay not really . . . Djyrin lent me this long sleeve shirt which was nice as a keeper. :))) I was wearing jogging pants, no shorts, no spikes. So I used my rubber shoes. That was my big mistake. Because I had to dive so many times. I mean really, they think they can steal KICK the ball when I was already IN POSSESSION of it? Thank God ball hugging was allowed, because seriously, I kept hugging the ball so that no one would come near it. I was glad that I actually blocked some hits :) Unfortunately, I lost my head with some obvious shots. I felt kinda stupid. But since they're ALL ALMOST varsity players, you had to cut us some slack, right? :)) Yeah. Yeah, that's it. xP Also, simultaneously ongoing then was the girls' volleyball game. Unfortunately, I didn't get to watch. They lost, too. Awwwwwwwwwwwwww. :(
And then, we had PE for an hour. Skipped Trigo! Never have I been as happy as yesterday to miss Trigo. That's because I thought - we all thought - that Tr. Oyette will be gone for about 2 months or so for a surgery/operation on her left ovary. (More of that later.) Anyway, we started practicing for our practical test, which was social dances. We were going to dance Can I Have This Dance from High School Musical 3 and Kiss From a Rose from Batman. HAHA. :))) Yeah. :P
And then, film viewing in CLVE. Woooooo! Aircon in the AVR. \m/ Hahaha. And then, dismissal. Wahoo! I think something else happened . . . But I forgot. :( Anyway, that was a sad day for me. Except for the Coco Chanel part. >:) Day's done!
January 11, 2011
So, what happened again today? Oh, more practice. :)) Second song is DJ Got Us Falling In Love Again by Usher. WEEEEEE. Hahaha! After that was recess and two periods/one hour of subjects: Filipino and Geometry. We discussed more Noli Me Tangere in Filipino, then a quiz in Geometry. So sad that I didn't read the whole chapter there. :( Oh well . . . Next quiz. Next time.
Then, lunch. Soccer and volleyball boys. \m/ We watched volleyball first, unfortunately, we lost there. (I was going to rant about it here, but the anger's out of me now. xP) So to make the story short about what I felt, I screamed. A lot. Ask Hanna. Or Michelle. Or Nica or Sean. Even Nero. MWAHAHAHAHA. And then we proceeded to the field to see the progress of the soccer game. WE WON! YES!!! WAHOO! GO THIRD YEAR! :))))
And then, CLVE. We had an activity. We made a body. Ours was really weird. All the other parts were seriously big but the effin' body was small. =)) And then we had English. Had an exercise about bibliography, which I do not know a single thing about. :(( Stupid me!! Sigh . . . And then, IT. Our new topic was looping statements. Yes, Hanna. LOOPS. >:) And then, AP. Okay, so we thought we were going to have film viewing about World War II, but noooooooo, Sir Renz didn't bring a DVD. xP But we had free time. XDXD I think I just slept. HAHA. And then talked to Hanna and Margie a bit. And then Sir Toby came in for GT. We just had a lecture and some curve graphs. HAHA. And then, dismissal.
We were dismissed early. Earlier than usual, I mean. :)) Weeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Card Distribution on Friday. Am I excited? OF COURSE NOT. I am nervous as heck. :(( Good luck to me. I hope I can still stay "there." Lord, please. :((((((
You remain my power, my pleasure, my pain. Baby, to me you're like a growing addiction that I can't deny :) - Kiss From A Rose

LACASA '11: Making a World of Difference
We will sing, sing, sing, and make music with the heavens. We will sing, sing, sing, grateful that you hear us when we shout your praise, lift high the name of Jesus.
This was a really good day. Not really what I expected, but it was better. :) We were split into two because we'd be coming in vans. Thirty minutes is the estimated trip from CDBS to Colegio de San Juan de Letran at Calamba. I even saw SM Calamba when we were going there and I remembered our chem trip. HAHAHA SHARE. Anyway, we got there, but our other schoolmates were still on the way. It was really cold there in the morning. Good thing we had our jackets on, because it was a really long time before the others arrived. While waiting, we saw the other students from the other schools . . . And their IDs for the LACASA. We felt so downgraded because ours was just a sticker like a children's party name tag, and theirs was laminated. See the difference? Oh well . . . And finally, the others came. Wee. :D
It was kind of a long walk. Man, I wish I could describe you what CSJL Calamba looks like, but unfortunately, I'm not good with outside appearances. :)))))) But I'll try my best. Buildings were circling a really large field. Outside the building where we entered, there were I think two other buildings on each side. It felt like UST even though I have never been to UST my entire life - YET - because it looked real old. I'm not saying it's run-down or whatever, I'm just saying it's not that new. But it still looked strong.
So we walked from the first building up to their gym. At first we didn't know if we should enter yet. Hahaha. And then we saw Tr. Nora! She was our Filipino teacher when we were in first year. Yeah, she's in Letran now! Whoa. Anyway, we greeted her, and then we went inside the gym. A lotta students were already there. Seriously, I think 34 schools came. They were already dancing to some rock Gospel songs, and they kept dancing some more. It was awkward for us because we just got there and we don't know the steps yet, and the group in front was really . . . energetic. There was one guy (although he was kind of acting like a not guy) who seemed he really excited about the dancing. We were laughing at him. Mean, I know. :P
And then we had a mass celebrated by the bishop. There were so many of us. Meg was the one who read the responsorial psalm. Hahaha. And then after the mass we just stayed there in the gym. Snacks were distributed to each school. Burger and juice. Weeeeeee. :)) Then we were "welcomed" by some dancers of Letran. It was, um, good, I guess :) After that . . . Uh . . . Oh yeah, we DANCED. Two songs only, but we danced it so many times. But at first, though, we weren't LSS-ed by it. XD Oh yeah, and then after that, we were asked to take out a pen and paper. We had to ask at least 100 people their e-mail accounts on Facebook. Which was quite weird but we did it anyway. We were running around and writing our e-mail addresses on different papers. :)) It was kind of funny, but still weird.
After talking to some random people, someone gave us a talk. I thought it was gonna be boring, but it turns out that he was one of the greatest talk-givers I've ever encountered in my life. Seriously, he was funny, there wasn't one moment we felt dead in his talk. Which was cool. Except for the fact that my legs and butt and feet were already hurting from just sitting there the whole two or three hours. And when the talk was over, some stood up, but it turned out that no one was allowed to leave the gym for . . . ever. It felt like an evacuation center. :))))
We were given lunch, and we ate in the gym. Yeah, all of us. So many schools. So many people. Evacuation center. :)) A band was playing while we were eating though, so that was very nice. x] And then we were asked one 3rd year representative from each school for the elections of the LACASA Board for next year. Dianne was ours. :P And then, we danced some more!! Woopee. But this time, we were kind of starting to enjoy it. :))))) Well, the other song, anyway. Sing, sing, sing!! \m/ :)) XD
The dancing was finished, and then we continued the activity where we had to ask for people's Facebook accounts. After that, the Bible Quiz Bee started. Only one student per school. Well, that sucked. :))))) Ate Aila was ours. Go Ate Aila! There were 5 groups, with different students of different schools each. 15 total questions for the whole quiz bee, divided into the three usual categories. But here's the catch: If you get the question wrong, you're out. You can't answer anymore questions, so your team loses a member. The team with the most number of members left wins. Unfortunately, Team/Group 2, where Ate Aila was in, lost. Group 3 won. Darn. Too bad. But oh well.
The winners were awarded with the medals. After that, the winners of the elections were announced. Dianne wasn't there, so I didn't listen much :))))) I just ate the snacks given to us. XDXD Then we played a game. I didn't understand it, but we just did whatever what was told to get it over with. It was sort of weird, but funny. :D And then, we danced again!! Most of us, even the people from the other schools, requested the Sing, Sing, Sing. Hahaha! :)) \m/ It was played over and over I think three times. It was fun the first two times, but during the third, well . . . There were some people pushing each other towards our way in one particular part of the song, so it was very awkward. HAHA. Then after that, we were all dismissed. Weeeeeeee!
Fresh air! We finally got to taste the fresh air! :)) Okay, so Sir Renz wanted to take pictures :)) But it ended up that he was the one who took the picture of us. :))))) After that, we rode back to school. We got there earlier than the rest, again.
Astrid, Jonina and I went upstairs. No one was there, of course, we arrived at 4:30 in the afternoon. We went inside Mira and saw the list of players for the Sports Fest next week. I'm in soccer with Regina, Djyrin, Coritha, and so many others. Woo! Awesome. Jonina's in table tennis, I think. Hahaha. :)) Astrid's in Game of the Generals. Wew. The games are per level. Meaning the first year will compete against the second year and so on and so forth. Whoa. Nervous? Yeah . . . I'm gonna be seeing those second year girls again. And they are good soccer players. But they're also mean, soul-crushing little girls. Haha. What? They broke my spirit a year and a half ago. But I think they're . . . um . . . better than the last time I saw them. HAHAHA. I hope so. Anyways, though, I'm excited to play soccer again. It's been a really, really long time. And I WON'T be the keeper. Wee! I miss playing defense.
So I guess that's the end for now. Such a long blog. Well, it was a fun day. I missed Mira, though. Saw some of them when we were still at school in the morning BTW. But yeah, I missed them. O_O But I don't regret participating in LACASA. :D:D

I'm predicting more heartaches this year. xP
I remember so well, the day that you came into my life. You asked for my name, you had the most beautiful smile.
Yes, I know, it's a very old song. T'was really popular when we were in Grade 4. :)))) I just a line of this song on Tumblr. Wonderful song.
Anyway, it's back to school time. I mean, I really didn't want it to be yet, but no, I never get what I want. :)) So, yesterday. What happened again? Uh . . . Well, we received our exam results. Quite disappointing, if I say so myself. Why? Because I expected them to be higher. But oh well, it's my fault for not focusing anyway. This was an easy quarter, I just let the chance slip through my hands.
Okay, I don't want to talk about it anymore. The thoughts are just too depressing.
Aside from the horrible exam results, we were grouped in PE for our practical test. Wanna know what it's gonna be? SOCIAL DANCE. I mean, anything that has the word DANCE, I ain't good with it. xP I'm in Paige's group, with Michelle and Hanna and a lotta others in it. We're supposed to dance the swing, but Paige changed it to waltz. Gonna be dancing Can I Have This Dance? and that got me excited! For the very first time!
And today, Hanna was absent. Tsk tsk tsk! We changed the sitting arrangement, by the way. :)) I think everyone can agree it was better than the last quarter. Hey, at least no one got forgotten, right? EHEM.
I guess that's it. Oh! Me and 7 other 3rd year students are going to Calamba for LACASA on Friday this week, January 7. Yep, 7. Uh-huh. \m/ What? I'm excited about the date. :)
And yeah, that's it. I have nothing more to say. Until the next time. ^___^
