Why is everyone so proud? TOO proud, sometimes. Gets on my nerves.
It's exam week!! Wahoo. Yesterday was our first day. Trigo and English were the subjects we took. Trigo was easy. HAHA! Yeah, right. It was . . . kinda okay, except for the fact that because I forgot to put a decimal point on my final answer, I lost six points. Yeah, six!! And for the second to the last item, I forgot how we were going to do it, so I just stuck to 4.71 degrees. And that's two points!! Plus three, equals five mistakes? That's still not enough to make me smile.
And then in English, hmmm . . . Some items were tricky. The trickiest was the affixes part. Especially with the word "press." I wrote "suppress" but it wasn't in the notes. I just wrote that word because I know its meaning. It sucks because the information in the test was supposed to be given to us. *sigh*
Okay, and for today . . . First two subjects were Geom and CLVE. I already have a wrong answer for the last part. Dammit. And I wasn't sure with one of the distance formula thingy . . . Let's just hope I still have a high score for that. HAHA. And for CLVE, well, once I started writing my name, my eyes felt drowsy, and my brain didn't want to function anymore. Seriously, I didn't want to think. Hahaha! But I urged myself to, because of course, I wouldn't want to fail. But after I answered all the items, I didn't recheck it anymore, and instead I glued my head to the armchair. Still wasn't helping, though. :(
Last subject for today was GT. For me that was the hardest exam of the day. :( Even when I had the index card of formulas with me . . . I forgot the conversion of millisecond to second!! And how to count the number of vertical divisions!! Stupid me, huh? Hmm, what else? Oh, the last part, the essay part, I'm soooo not sure on that. I'm probably going to get just one point out of four. *sigh again* :(
And then a lot of papers were distributed. First was the Social Studies quiz, the one about Egyptian and Indian civilization. My score? My favorite number! :D Mistake number one: wrong spelling of Queen Hatshepsut. I wrote "Hatsepshut." Tsk! Sir Renz, why didn't you let this pass for once? :)))) Joke. Mistake number two: it was supposed to be TRUE. The nobles thing. I wrote "vaisyas." Awwww! Oh well, I didn't exactly know that because I was focused on the caste system. :)) And mistake number three: I answered true, but it wasn't. Because I thought the Hindus were the ones who "popularized" mummification. =)) How stupid of me, right? XD I didn't read that one while we were taking the quiz. :)) The correct answer was Egyptians. I shouldn't have gotten that one wrong, huh? :)) [ Reminder: Always read the whole sentence before answering, especially in Identification type of tests. ]
Then our Chem projects were distributed. So over 45 items, I got 33! Why am I proud?! NOT REALLY!! I didn't even get at least one 5 points . . . (Haha, I know it's confusing. You won't get me if you're not a junior studying in CDBS.) And I only have one point for the references. Well, that's nice. Lesson learned, I guess. Have many references for the next Chemistry projects!! Hahaha! Our last quiz in Chem was given back, too. Wheeeeew.
Subjects for tomorrow: Social Studies, IT and Drafting. Gonna focus on Social Studies, of course. I want to impress one of my favorite teachers. :)))))))) I'm kinda excited to take the SS exam tomorrow. (Yeah, if I get all of the questions right.)
