AWESOMENESS in the HOUSE!

the era of awesomeness has begun.

August 27, 2010: Mixed signals?

I really want to blog my Friday, but I'm just too lazy to blog nowadays, even if I want to type stuff. :)) I remember the real fun things that happened, but I couldn't get this one person out of my mind. =)) But okay, I guess I have to tell you so that I'll always remember my happy high school life. XD

So, yesterday . . . It was 6:40AM when we arrived at school, but I didn't see any of CHMJDV yet. Which was weird, because Christine was always the first to arrive among us. But then the people started coming, so it wasn't very awkward anymore. :)) First subject was Chemistry. We answered the assignment Tr. Tina gave last Wednesday. I didn't get any recitation points because (a) I didn't answer on the board, and (b) I didn't answer the assignment at all. Can you blame me? We were all so focused on the contest so that we can have a high grade in Filipino and AP, so we kinda forget the other subjects. Hahaha! Just kidding. :D But yeah, it's been a busy week for all of us Juniors. As a result, I failed in my Geometry and Chemistry assignments. What a shame, Denise. What a shame.

Next subject was Filipino. We did nothing. :)) Just waited for the freshmen and sophomores to finish in their mass. Then we had our mass. We sat on the second floor of the chapel yet again. We were with Turin. In the homily, father shared to us a story of a young boy who died after they had their recollection. That's a very unexpected (and somewhat untimely) way of dying. That's just sad. Father's telling us that we should always be prepared because we never know when we will die. I might even die today. So if I do I want all of you friends to know that I LOVE YOU! :)) So dramatic of me. :)))))

There's one thing I didn't get, though . . . He congratulated the choir, and said that they weren't trying hard anymore. Well, that just enraged me. So he was the one who said the choir was trying hard last time! Dang. >:P

Anyways, after that we went to the AVR lobby, which was just outside the second floor of the chapel. :)) We played some games first, with Meg and Anjo as the "hosts." The first one was Pinoy Henyo. Our section was up first. And representing were Blanky and William. Go Mira!! :)) In the last thirty seconds, Blanky guessed the correct answer, which was "Dr. Jose Rizal." Wooo!! :)) Then Mornese and Turin also played, though I forgot who were their representatives. And then Sir Chet also played!! With Sir Toby!! :)))) And what's the word to be guessed? SIR TOBY!!! :)) Sir Chet asked, "Teacher ba to?" "Sa high school?" "Gwapo ba to?" "Lalaking-lalaki ba?" And to all Sir Toby answered YES. =)) And then Sir Andy and Tr. Tina went next! Wooooo!! The word to be guessed was, okay, it wasn't just a word, it's a phrase: "Tr. Tina Sir Andy" !!!! =))

And then the last game was Hephep Hooray, with five representatives per section. Ours was the first to run out of reps. :))) Turin won. Guess who? GASTON!!! \m/ :)))) And finally the part we'd been waiting for. Eating time!!! And what's even better was that it was a girl's first system! Wooooo! :)))) I got palabok, Vielka's barbecue, and egg pie. Woooooo!! I missed Vielka's barbecue! :))

We rested for a while. Michelle and I went to the CR. Then we CHMJDV went to the first floor CR to change. WEW! Took some pictures, washed our faces with POND'S, and we were good to go!

Raphael and Astrid wore their Filipiniana costume because they were the emcees. Woooooo!! Astrid looked like Imelda Marcos. Hahaha! =)) All of us then went outside for an entrance or something. It was really hot outside!! Even more for those who wore their Filipiniana costume. We Mirabello peoples were wearing our costume for our performance already (well, except for our two emcees). We just took some pictures while waiting. Hahaha! :))

And then the program started! First the chorale sang the national anthem and the prayer. Only we thought it wasn't a prayer so we were a bit noisy. :))) Then, umm . . . I think the seniors presented something. We sang to what they were singing: Bakit ngayon ka lang dumating sa buhay ko? Pilit binubuksan ang sarado kong puso . . . :))) And then a group from I-Valdocco (I think, I should consult Hanna on this) performed an acrostic about nature. Then I think Faenza performed their Madulang Pagbigkas. Only saw the first part because we were preparing for singing the jingle. I wasn't really part of their group, I just guitar-ed. :)) It was a fail because we didn't practice it. XD As I have told you earlier, we were all busy with the song interpretation. We were all kind of fails. :)))))

And then Chieri presented their Sabayang Pagbigkas. I don't know what the difference is with the second year. :))) And then Miyazaki did their SaDulAwit. After that was our turn. Wooooo!!! A little nervous, but all the more excited. We went near the stage so that we could prepare. It was panic time again!!! :)) "Where are the banners?!" "How about the cartolinas?!" "Are all the props here?!" :)) And we managed to have a good performance and prove ourselves . . . :) The graffiti wall was missing, though. And so was the globe!! :)))) But it was all good. Some teachers and sisters told us we did a really good job. Cool!! :D That made me smile. :)

And then we received our prizes. Ours was the Mii fan. I call it that because I discovered that there. :)) There were only forty though, so not all received. :((( Too bad. T-T *sigh* After the program, we cleaned up our mess at the stage. Haha! With our fans. :)) Then Michelle, Hanna and I went to the CR. After that we went back to the classroom and took some pictures. XD Woooo!! Then, dismissal.

Michelle, Jonina and I went to the lobby. We saw Vielka there. And Louise and Meg and Micah, with Khielle and Ranie. Louise received a prize for being the best dressed! Woooooooooooooo! \m/ :D Nice. I knew it. :)) I liked her Filipiniana, even if it was pink. :)))) And then . . . we saw Aivette again!!! \m/ XD WEW. I didn't miss her . . . =)))) KIDDING. :)))

And then in the service . . . Miguel broke the E string! x( Grrrrr. He's going to pay for that. >:P Joke. :))
