Diversion
When I was little, I was already asked of this question:
"What course are you going to take up in college?" My mom was the first one who asked me that. XD I just told her I wanted something related to writing. So she asked if I was going to take Mass Communication. I asked her first what that is, and she said I would write articles or other means and . . . that. Yeah, I forgot. :)) But I told myself I was going to take that, because I can write.
A few years passed and I got to know about lawyers. I asked my mom what course lawyers take to, well, become lawyers. She answered Law. I thought lawyers were cool, so I got to thinking whether or not I should take law. It has high pay, so that's one fact. :D But then I got scared because you might get sued if you have some errors. X_X :)) Then I also found out about Journalism, which is much like Mass Comm. You'll write articles or report in news shows like TV Patrol or 24 Oras. I didn't want that, but it's related to writing, so I decided I'd take that instead of Mass Comm. Then, I'd take Law after. :D
Then, I think that was last year or two years ago, I watched Nikki Gil on Myx, and I learned that she was at the time taking Literature at Ateneo. And right then and there, I finally decided that instead of Journalism, I will be taking Literature in college. I started reading novels, and got more excited for my future. :D
Suddenly, two weeks ago, I was chatting with Sir Chet. We talked about a few things, and then the Engineering thing came up. I was surprised and told him that I would be taking Literature and not Engineering. The idea never even came across my mind. But after that chat, I'm not sure with Literature anymore. :( I told my friends about it. One said Literature is "unpredictable," and she's right. Although I've always dreamed of being a bestselling author in the world, I can't do that right away because . . . Well, just because that job is hard. :(
So I decided that I'll take Engineering in college. :'( It was not what I had in mind, but it's math, and I can do math. [ Although it's science, too, but . . . it's going to be okay. :D ] Math is fun. =)) And maybe I'll take Literature after that, so I can write a few stories in my spare time. [ Wow. I think I'm going to work all the time when I'm old. XD ] And then, when I'm older, I may take Law too. :D I like . . . things. :)) Secret. =)) But I won't lie. XD If I have to defend real innocent people and have low pay only so that I would not have to lie for rich people, I'm going to do it. Fight for the truth, men! \m/ :))
